Running in High Heels, the movie

"It's hard to take women seriously. I think anybody who's got a five-point majority and still doesn't control the agenda might be spending a little too much time reading about how to get a man over his fear of commitment."
- Bruno Gianelli, the West Wing

FACT:  Women are 52% of the population and have had the right to vote for 85 years but are only 14% of the Congress.

How is this possible?

Running in High Heels explores how well women support each other in a world that doesn't support women.

By following the story of one young woman's campaign bid for State Senate audiences see what lack of mentorship and connectedness can do to women and how women must avoid competing against each other instead of cooperating with each other.

Running also features a variety of notable authors and political figures such as Heidi Hartmann from the Insitute for Women's Policy Reseach (from the left) and Phyllis Schlafly (from the right).

AUDIENCES SAY:

"Great, great movie!"

"It led to some heated discussions at dinner."

"This film was AMAZING!   Thank you for raising all these questions for us and validating the discussions that so many of my friends and I are already having."

"I am left inspired - I don't know if I'll run for office but I know I'll vote differently."
